Team Lead – Telecom Sales

About the role

The Team Lead – Telecom Sales will drive a high‑performing sales team in a fast‑paced telecommunications environment, focusing on achieving revenue targets and delivering excellent customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Monitor daily performance metrics such as productivity, conversion rates and other KPIs.
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback and performance development.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.
• Create action plans to address performance gaps and ensure compliance with sales processes and quality standards.
• Support representatives with escalations, customer concerns and complex sales situations.
• Analyze sales reports to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Conduct team meetings, coaching sessions and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, Quality and other departments to improve overall performance.
• Promote a positive, competitive, results‑driven team environment while ensuring excellent customer experience.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a Sales Team Lead or Supervisor role.
• Previous experience in telecommunications sales (required).
• Experience in BPO or contact‑center environments (highly preferred).
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze sales metrics and develop performance‑improvement plans.
• Strong organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving skills.
