Transport Coordinator

About the role

The Transport Coordinator is responsible for managing daily and weekly fuel freight operations, ensuring accurate reconciliation of freight reports, and supporting the logistics chain from scheduling to payment. This role works closely with haulers, finance, and internal teams to maintain efficient transport processes and uphold safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily PEG & EGU fuel freight reconciliation, update weekly freight reports, and distribute reconciled reports to haulers.
• Monitor fuel deliveries to BtB and RET customers, track mechanical failures, and handle claims related to service quality.
• Register drivers and units in Navision, provide real‑time location updates, and manage deviations or delays.
• Prepare weekly freight reconciliation for finance, review lubricant freight, and generate purchase orders for bi‑weekly and monthly payments.
• Process transport credit notes, register F45 and F152 forms, and maintain credit note and missing reports.
• Collect and analyse transport fuel reports, evaluate supplier performance, and compile data on delays, mechanical failures, and service levels.

Required profile

• Technical education (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Industrial Technician).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial facilities covering maintenance, production, logistics or transportation.
• Proven ability to manage databases and handle detailed reconciliation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of national geography and logistics processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience using Navision for driver and unit registration.
• Database management capabilities.
