Vendor Performance Analyst

About the role

The Vendor Performance Analyst will develop and execute procurement and performance strategies for the CR‑NCAM area, supporting Maersk’s global logistics operations. This role focuses on building long‑term supplier relationships, optimizing spend, and ensuring compliance with Maersk’s policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic supplier partnerships across assigned purchase categories.
• Optimize procurement spend and contract terms to achieve cost efficiency and value.
• Register and monitor project performance using the Procurement reporting tool (PPM).
• Ensure compliance with global and local procurement policies, HSSE, ESG and legal standards.
• Conduct market, category and supply‑risk analyses and create Total Value Ownership models with internal stakeholders.
• Draft contracts in Spanish and English and manage the end‑to‑end contracting process with legal experts.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, service level agreements, corrective actions and escalation processes.
• Validate invoices, reimbursables and budget adherence, and run governance cadences such as MOR/QBR.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of direct procurement or sourcing experience.
• Experience in the 3PL/4PL logistics sector is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Customs or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting contracts in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to perform supplier market and risk analyses.
• Knowledge of procurement reporting tools and financial validation processes.
