Accounting Analyst

About the role

The Accounting Analyst will ensure the integrity, timeliness, and accuracy of all expense and supplier invoices for Grupo Dragón Guatemala. The role supports fiscal compliance, proper budget allocation, and the smooth release of payments.

Key responsibilities

• Match invoices with purchase orders and accounts‑payable reports, resolving discrepancies in price, quantity, or terms.
• Guarantee timely payments to contractors and suppliers while optimizing commercial relationships.
• Respond to audits and information requests from public or private entities.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments on ERP updates, testing, and migration, and help digitize and automate the invoicing workflow.
• Assist in monthly close processes by providing supplier balance reconciliations and bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with OneDrive or similar cloud‑storage tools.
• Experience using ERP systems for invoicing and financial reporting.
