Administrative and Finance Operations Manager

About the role

The Administrative and Finance Operations Manager leads the administrative systems and financial operations for ECHO’s Central America and Caribbean Regional Impact Center. Based in Guatemala, the role serves as the primary liaison between the Regional Director, ECHO’s Global Finance Department, and local accounting providers, ensuring compliance with both global policies and Guatemalan regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage petty cash, monthly payroll, supplier payments, expense reimbursements and per diems.
• Maintain complete internal control of all financial transactions, ensuring each is supported by proper documentation such as electronic tax invoices (FEL), receipts, and contracts.
• Organize and safeguard income and expense records in both physical and digital formats for easy retrieval.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the Regional Director and Global Finance Department.
• Maintain a fixed‑asset register and calculate depreciation.
• Develop, update and monitor the annual and monthly budgets in coordination with the Regional Director and Global Finance.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and oversight abilities for finance and administrative functions.
• Excellent knowledge of Guatemalan tax, labor and legal requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a mission‑driven, transparent and service‑oriented environment.
• Based in Guatemala and able to act as the operational bridge between regional and global teams.
