Analista de Contabilidad y Crédito – Guatemala

About the role

UPL, a global leader in sustainable agricultural solutions, is seeking an Accounting and Credit Analyst for its Guatemala office. The role ensures accurate execution, review and coordination of accounting, tax, credit and treasury support processes, acting as the local focal point with the Global Business Center and regional finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax obligations, respond to SAT requests and coordinate required documentation.
• Review financial statements, coordinate adjustments and act as the registered accountant before SAT when formally designated.
• Monitor accounts receivable, manage collections, negotiate payment terms and maintain direct client contact.
• Administer credit limits, identify and escalate credit risks, delays and discrepancies affecting portfolio recovery.
• Execute payment proposals using SAP F110 according to defined calendars, controls and approval levels.
• Validate information, resolve incidents and maintain traceability of all activities.
• Coordinate with GCC and regional finance on accounting, tax, credit and payment matters, driving standardisation and documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, credit/collections and accounts receivable.
• Experience managing SAT audits.
