Asistente Contable

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with day‑to‑day accounting operations. The role involves handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as managing inventory and fixed‑asset records.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices and payments for accounts payable.
• Record and follow up on customer invoices and collections.
• Maintain accurate inventory and fixed‑asset registers.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare basic financial reports and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Professional accounting degree (Perito Contador) – mandatory.
• Currently enrolled in a CPA program (night or weekend classes).
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Knowledge of inventory and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday, including Saturdays.
• Willingness to travel to Escuintla and El Salvador when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills (approximately 90% proficiency).
