About the role
The Occupational Health and Safety Assistant will support Spectrum in ensuring that all health, safety and occupational procedures are correctly applied by employees and contractors during daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with Spectrum's occupational health and safety standards.
- Assist in the implementation of safety procedures on construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and report non‑conformities.
- Support incident reporting and follow‑up actions.
- Coordinate with contractors to guarantee adherence to safety protocols.
Required profile
- Technical degree in Occupational Health and Safety, paramedicine, emergency medical services or firefighting.
- Specialized coursework or certification in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety (mandatory).
- Minimum one year of experience in industrial safety roles within construction.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
