Bilingual International Patient Assistant (Advanced English)

About the role

Hospicare Consulting is looking for a Bilingual International Patient Assistant to join a dynamic, multicultural team. You will provide comprehensive support to international patients throughout their medical journey, acting as the bridge between patients, healthcare providers, and international insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end assistance to international patients, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Coordinate communication among patients, medical institutions, and international insurance companies.
• Maintain accurate administrative and operational follow‑up for assigned cases.
• Handle documentation and requirements related to international patient care.
• Support translation and interpretation tasks when needed.
• Guarantee an exceptional level of service for every patient.

Required profile

• Technical, technological or professional training in Administration, International Business, Tourism & Hospitality, Translation & Interpretation, Health Sciences or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, patient assistance, administrative support or similar roles.
• Experience in clinics, hospitals, insurers or international health‑service companies is preferred.
• Advanced or bilingual proficiency in English (mandatory); a third language such as French, German, Portuguese or others is a plus.
• Familiarity with international medical insurance, authorizations or guarantee letters is desirable.
• Availability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
