Billing & Customer Service Specialist (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

SupportMates LLC is hiring a Billing & Customer Service Specialist to support a growing U.S.-based service business. You will organize the company’s billing and accounts receivable and handle customer phone calls with a professional, friendly tone. This is a customer‑service role, not a sales position.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and manage the company’s billing and accounts receivable (AR).
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and keep collections moving.
• Answer customer phone calls and email inquiries in a warm, professional manner.
• Prepare reports and analysis using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records.
• Coordinate with the owners on priorities and next steps.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance.
• Fluent English for daily phone and email communication with U.S. customers.
• Daily use of AI tools for reporting and analysis, with examples to demonstrate.
• University degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (in progress or completed) is a plus.
• Proactive, self‑taught, organized, detail‑oriented, and excellent on the phone.
• Availability Monday‑Friday, 40 hours/week aligned with U.S. Eastern Time.
• Based remotely in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, or Nicaragua.
