Commercial Manager – Digital Marketplace

About the role

PedidosYa Market, the digital marketplace of Latin America’s leading delivery and quick‑commerce platform, is looking for a Commercial Manager to shape the buying experience of millions of users. You will drive commercial strategy, lead a high‑performing analytics team and work cross‑functionally to grow new product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute short‑, medium‑ and long‑term commercial strategies that deliver profitable growth and superior customer experience.
• Lead, develop and motivate a team of commercial analysts, fostering a culture of data‑driven decision making.
• Manage commercial lines and key performance indicators such as sales, profitability, inventory turnover and promotions, using assortment matrices and digital consumer behavior insights.
• Negotiate shared‑value agreements with key suppliers to secure competitive terms, optimal commercial conditions and exclusive launches.
• Coordinate continuously with regional and local Marketing, Operations, Logistics and Finance teams to optimise the in‑app offering and ensure business growth.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience leading commercial strategies, pricing and category development in mass‑consumer, retail, supermarket or convenience‑store environments.
• Direct experience managing and developing talent.
• Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a data‑driven approach.
• Advanced English proficiency.
