Constituency Engagement Officer

About the role

The Constituency Engagement Officer connects World Renew Guatemala with local partners, North‑American churches, donors, schools, volunteers and visitors. Based in Jocotenango, this on‑site role supports high‑quality engagement, learning trips, storytelling and external relations while upholding World Renew’s mission and values.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the annual Constituency Engagement Action Plan with the Country Director and partners.
• Develop visitor, volunteer, church, school and donor engagement opportunities before external communication.
• Organise and facilitate Learning and Discovery Trips, handling logistics, cultural interpretation, group support and post‑visit follow‑up.
• Design ethical learning experiences that respect the capacity and dignity of Guatemalan partners.
• Collect stories, photos and testimonies with consent, provide translations and briefings for donor communications.
• Support the Country Director in external networking, relationship tracking and opportunity follow‑up.
• Ensure compliance with World Renew policies on safeguarding, risk management and documentation.
• Maintain organized communication resources, partner information and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Mature Christian committed to serving Jesus Christ and World Renew’s mission.
• Strong intercultural, written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local staff, partners and North‑American teams.
• Commitment to ethical engagement and safeguarding standards.
