Consultor/a de Gestión de Casos PROL

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a dedicated Consultant for PROL case management in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. You will work directly with internally displaced persons affected by conflict, violence, or climate‑related events, providing individualized advice and protection support.

Key responsibilities

• Support IRC protection activities by identifying and implementing response services for vulnerable populations.
• Conduct case management at municipal and community levels, including regular visits to client locations.
• Ensure high‑quality follow‑up and documentation for each case.
• Provide individual counseling and guidance to persons in crisis or emergency situations.
• Collaborate with local partners to coordinate assistance such as cash support, gender‑based violence services, and reliable information dissemination.

Required profile

• Experience in humanitarian protection or case management, preferably with displaced populations.
• Knowledge of gender‑based violence response and climate‑related displacement contexts.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and travel within the municipality.
• Strong commitment to IRC’s mission of restoring safety, dignity, and hope.
