About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the execution of our accounting and financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions and compliance with current tax and accounting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily entry recording, general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
• Collect, compile, verify and analyze financial information.
• Prepare and support the creation of financial reports for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS (NIIF), income tax (ISR), VAT (IVA), ISO standards and local labor and tax legislation.
• Participate in internal accounting tests and audits as required.

Required profile

• Graduated as Perito Contador or holder of a degree in Public Accounting and Auditing (master’s preferred).
• Strong ability to gather, verify and analyze financial data.
• Available to work Monday‑Friday in Zone 14, Guatemala City.
• Willingness to undergo an accounting knowledge test.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of IFRS (NIIF) standards.
• Understanding of ISR and IVA tax regulations.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and local labor legislation.
