Contralor Financiero – Control y Finanzas

About the role

The company, a growing importer and wholesaler of second‑hand clothing, seeks a hands‑on Financial Controller to oversee and streamline its local financial operations. The role works directly with finance, operations, warehouse, inventory, cost, and import teams, as well as the international head office.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and control local financial information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with external accounting firm, payroll provider, and customs agent.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, payments, and expenses.
• Control and analyze inventory, cost of imports, and overall operational costs.
• Prepare and follow up on financial reporting for the local entity and the international headquarters.
• Identify financial differences, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Communicate relevant financial data to management and the parent company.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial control.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, import/export or fast‑growing SMEs.
• Exposure to working with an international head office.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline and organizational skills.
• Intermediate English (B1‑B2) for technical financial conversations.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) for analysis, reconciliations, costing and cash‑flow modeling.
