Coordinador de Control de Calidad – Industria Alimentaria

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Quality Control Coordinator to lead our food‑safety and quality initiatives. The role involves overseeing the quality department, ensuring compliance with the highest standards, and driving continuous improvement across all production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all activities of the Quality Control department.
• Lead a team of 9 collaborators, ensuring objectives and procedures are met.
• Guarantee compliance with quality and food‑safety standards in every process.
• Manage inventories of inputs and supplies for the department.
• Handle customer complaints and supplier claims with timely follow‑up.
• Ensure adherence to BPM, HACCP, ISO 9001 and all applicable food‑industry regulations.
• Analyze performance indicators, generate reports and propose continuous‑improvement actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Food Engineering (graduated).
• Preferably a Master’s in Food Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control or Assurance within the food industry.
• Strong analytical mindset, result‑oriented and detail‑focused.
