Director Regional de Cadena de Suministro

About the role

The Regional Supply Chain Director will define and lead the end‑to‑end planning, sourcing and logistics strategy across Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama and Miami. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role is pivotal for profitable growth, product availability, working‑capital optimization and service excellence across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the regional supply‑chain strategy, aligning demand, supply, operations and financial goals through a robust S&OP process.
• Ensure product availability and meet service‑level targets for distribution, key customers, physical retail and digital commerce.
• Optimize working capital by disciplined inventory management, portfolio lifecycle control and market‑specific policies.
• Lead the regional network of warehousing, transportation, distribution, last‑mile, reverse logistics and billing, driving productivity, reliability and scalability.
• Drive operational and technological transformation, enhancing standardisation, traceability and data‑driven decision making.
• Oversee budgeting, strategic supplier alliances and the development of high‑performing regional and local teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field; postgraduate studies or MBA valued.
• At least 10 years of progressive supply‑chain or operations experience, with a minimum of 5 years leading multi‑country structures.
• Proven experience in distribution, retail, technology or fast‑moving consumer goods environments with high complexity and short product lifecycles.
• Deep expertise in S&OP, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, transport, distribution and international trade.
• Track record of leading transformation, aligning functions and translating operational/financial data into executive decisions.
• Advanced English proficiency and willingness to travel 30‑50 % of the time.
• Preferred: APICS/ASCM certification, Lean Six Sigma, postgraduate or MBA.
