About the role

We are looking for a full-time Operations Executive (Import) to join our team in Guatemala City. The role focuses on managing the end-to-end import logistics process, ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders and delivering high-quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete import process from shipment arrival to customs clearance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, shipping lines, and internal teams to schedule and track deliveries.
• Prepare and verify all required import documentation.
• Resolve any issues that arise during import to maintain timely and efficient operations.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in import logistics and the import process.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with release procedures with shipping lines.
• Minimum 85 % proficiency in written and spoken English.
