About the role

We are looking for a Sales Executive with a strong commercial orientation and experience in the maritime, logistics, freight forwarding or international trade sectors. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing and expanding a portfolio of dry and refrigerated cargo clients, and delivering sustainable commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of import and export cargo clients (dry and refrigerated).
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking and identify commercial trends and opportunities in the Guatemalan market.
• Prospect, qualify and follow up sales leads, develop new client relationships.
• Prepare and present commercial quotations, negotiate terms and oversee the closing process.
• Recommend appropriate maritime services and logistics solutions for each client.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, resolve issues promptly and ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams, plan activities, and communicate effectively.
• Utilize CRM and other commercial management tools to track activities.

Required profile

• University degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field (completed or in progress).
• Intermediate to advanced English (B2‑C1).
• 2‑3 years of commercial experience, preferably with shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistics or international trade companies.
• Availability to work flexible hours and travel for commercial visits.
• Own a reliable vehicle for client visits.
