Encargado/Asistente de Distribución y Despacho

About the role

Procreto is looking for a motivated individual to manage and assist with distribution and dispatch operations at its Villa Nueva facility in Guatemala. The role ensures smooth product flow from production to delivery while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify products by code and production date.
• Coordinate with forklift operators for product placement and dispatch.
• Verify and control loads on trucks.
• Track and record damaged products during loading and order preparation.
• Support order coordination with Sales, Production, and Logistics departments.
• Follow up on returns and manage the corresponding processes.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain proper stock control.
• Efficiently manage storage space using FIFO (PEPS) methodology.
• Help coordinate personnel and loads when the yard requires assistance.
• Facilitate communication across departments to ensure fluid operations.
• Report opportunities for improvement in dispatch processes.

Required profile

• Accounting background (Perito Contador) or university student in a related field.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including half‑day on Saturdays.
• Strong numerical ability.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar logistics or dispatch role.
• Preferably experience in construction material manufacturing companies.
