FP&A Opex Analyst – Finance Operations

About the role

We are looking for an FP&A Opex Analyst to join TELUS Digital’s finance team in Guatemala. The analyst will support the planning, budgeting and reporting of operating expenses across multiple functions, and will play a key part in finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting for Opex across the organization.
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards and reports to monitor expense performance and identify trends.
• Perform variance analysis, highlight risks and opportunities, and provide data‑driven insights to business leaders.
• Assist with month‑end close activities, including accruals, allocations and reconciliations.
• Ensure data accuracy in planning and reporting systems and automate recurring reports where possible.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to validate data and meet reporting requirements.
• Evaluate existing FP&A and Opex processes, recommend improvements and support standardisation and automation projects.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects and the adoption of self‑service reporting tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis or corporate finance.
• Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate insights to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
