Freelance Mechanical BIM Specialist – Global Projects

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Mechanical BIM Specialist to support real mechanical BIM projects for global engineering and construction initiatives. You will create high‑quality mechanical system models in Revit, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure delivery aligns with client requirements and BIM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate mechanical BIM models (HVAC, ductwork, piping, sheet metal, equipment) using Revit.
• Produce models at LOD 350 and support conceptual and BIM‑assist design phases.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers remotely, ensuring model accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model reviews.
• Maintain project documentation and adhere to BIM standards.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Revit on BIM projects.
• Proven experience modeling HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and sheet‑metal components.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency and immediate availability.
