HR Generalist Regional

About the role

We are a regional SaaS B2B services and consulting company looking for a proactive HR Generalist to support our operations across Guatemala, Mexico, Central America, Colombia and Peru. The role is hybrid, based in Guatemala City, and combines recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and compliance duties.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the full recruitment cycle – posting, screening, interviewing, testing, reference checks, offers and hiring – including trainee and internship programs.
• Lead end‑to‑end onboarding: prepare documentation, grant system accesses, conduct inductions, assign buddies and monitor probation periods.
• Coordinate training logistics such as invitations, vendor management, attendance tracking, evaluations and record keeping.
• Handle first‑level labor relations issues and follow up on cases.
• Promote employee engagement through activities, celebrations, team‑building events and internal communications.
• Ensure documentary and regulatory compliance, including ISO 27001/SGSI standards and country‑specific labor laws.
• Support off‑boarding processes, HR reporting and database maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree or graduate in Industrial Engineering, Psychology or a related field.
• Mid‑level experience as an HR Generalist.
• Knowledge of Guatemalan labor legislation; regional knowledge of Mexico, Central America, Colombia and Peru is a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, proactive attitude, teamwork and networking abilities.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in an agile environment.
