IFRS Specialist

About the role

The IFRS Specialist will lead the comprehensive adoption of new financial standards (full IFRS and sustainability IFRS) across Grupo Unicomer, ensuring technical excellence in the Group's accounting policies and accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation teams for new IFRS standards, delivering standardized individual and consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards for all Group entities and diagnose current accounting processes.
• Plan and execute the harmonization of local accounting rules to IFRS, documenting application criteria in accounting policies.
• Guarantee timely, high‑quality deliverables with proper documentation for internal and external reviews.
• Lead consulting and audit processes related to IFRS applications, streamlining internal and third‑party procedures.
• Develop IFRS analysts, finance managers, accountants, and corporate teams on IFRS compliance and application.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of full IFRS and sustainability reporting standards.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in accounting standard implementations.
• Ability to assess and align accounting processes with business strategies.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
