Information Technology Project Manager

About the role

The Senior IT Project Manager leads end‑to‑end delivery of complex, high‑impact technology initiatives for Food For The Poor, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and stakeholder alignment across infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications and digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering deliverables, milestones, resources, procurement and change management.
• Partner with business and technical leaders to define outcomes, governance and delivery approaches, applying Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methods as appropriate.
• Manage vendor relationships throughout the lifecycle, including RFPs, contracts, performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• Build and control detailed project budgets, track actuals versus forecasts, and report financial status to finance and leadership.
• Own project governance artifacts, risk registers, change control processes and ensure compliance with security and data‑privacy standards.
• Facilitate steering committees, executive updates and stakeholder communications, providing clear status, risks and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 6‑8 years of progressive IT project management experience, including senior‑level vendor and budget management.
• Proven delivery experience in infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, cloud or digital transformation.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in an international or nonprofit environment is preferred.
• PMP certification is required.
