About the role

Ufinet Guatemala is seeking a Pre‑sales Engineer to conduct economic studies (cost‑to‑offer) for network solutions, supporting the commercial team in sales management. The role bridges technical design and business proposals, ensuring solutions are financially viable and meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cost analysis and pricing studies for network solutions.
• Collaborate with the commercial department to provide technical input for sales proposals.
• Design and evaluate network architectures based on customer requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and cost estimates for pre‑sales activities.
• Support the sales team during client meetings with technical expertise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in telecommunications and networking, preferably in engineering and pre‑sales roles.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong result orientation, teamwork, flexibility and adaptability.

• DWDM technology expertise.
• Cloud solutions familiarity.
