Jefe de Bodega – Liderazgo en Operaciones Logísticas

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Warehouse Manager to lead the storage, inventory, distribution and transportation operations of our Guatemala Distribution Center. The role combines strategic planning, process management and team leadership to ensure business continuity, service level compliance and cost optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, custody and dispatch of raw materials, supplies and finished goods to guarantee inventory availability and operational continuity.
• Ensure physical and system inventory accuracy through cyclic counts, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Plan and coordinate national and export dispatches to meet internal and external service level agreements.
• Administer the operational budget for storage, transport and distribution, optimizing resource use and meeting financial targets.
• Coordinate transportation, storage and logistics service providers to secure required operational capacity and service standards.
• Lead compliance with industrial safety, occupational health, quality and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Advanced degree or specialization in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management (preferred).
• 14+ years in logistics, warehousing and distribution, with at least 4 years leading high‑volume distribution center teams.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Power BI or similar analytical tools.
• Inventory management and internal control expertise.
• Lean Warehousing and continuous improvement methodologies.
