Key Account Executive – Guatemala

About the role

The Key Account Executive will manage, develop and retain an assigned portfolio of clients in Guatemala, driving the sale of technology solutions through a consultative approach. The role focuses on identifying client needs, delivering value, and supporting sustainable growth for the organization in the Guatemalan market.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong, sustainable relationships with the assigned client portfolio.
• Identify business opportunities within existing accounts and target strategic new accounts.
• Gather client requirements and propose technology solutions aligned with their business objectives.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, coordinate demos, and participate in negotiations and closures.
• Create and follow up on quotations, contracts and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with internal teams (pre‑sales, support, operations, finance) to ensure proper delivery of sold solutions.
• Conduct post‑sale follow‑up to ensure client satisfaction and uncover upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.
• Keep client and opportunity data up‑to‑date in the CRM.
• Achieve defined targets for revenue, retention and growth.
• Produce regular commercial reports, forecasts and opportunity updates.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Marketing or related fields.
• Proven B2B sales or account management experience, preferably in the technology sector.
• Experience selling software, IT services or digital transformation projects is desirable.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with the Guatemalan enterprise market.
