Key Account Manager (KAM) – Guatemala

About the role

MSN Labs is seeking a motivated Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead commercial activities in Guatemala’s pharmaceutical market. The role focuses on building strategic relationships, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth across key customers such as pharmacy chains, distributors, hospitals, and health institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with strategic pharmacy and health‑care customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and terms with key accounts.
• Design and execute account‑specific commercial plans.
• Coordinate new product launches with customers and internal teams.
• Analyze sales, profitability, and commercial indicators to uncover growth opportunities.
• Monitor orders, credit portfolios, returns, and post‑sale service.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and sector developments.
• Ensure achievement of sales targets and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as a KAM or in a commercial role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience negotiating with pharmacy chains, distributors, wholesalers, hospitals or health institutions.
• Knowledge of the Guatemalan pharmaceutical market; familiarity with Honduras and El Salvador is a plus.
• Result‑oriented mindset with strong long‑term relationship building skills.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
