Paid Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Athena is seeking a Paid Acquisition Specialist to lead paid growth for the supply side of its business. This hands‑on role will own the end‑to‑end execution of paid channels, driving volume and improving cost per qualified applicant while collaborating closely with CRO, Marketing, and recruitment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate all paid acquisition channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and emerging platforms) with full performance accountability.
• Define channel mix, creative strategy, and budget allocation aligned with business priorities.
• Partner with designers and recruiters to create high‑performing ad creative tailored to each audience.
• Monitor performance, cohort quality, and funnel metrics using data tools; close the loop from spend to applicant to hire.
• Design and run structured experiments across platforms, audiences, copy, and landing pages to improve applicant quality and cost per hire.
• Stay updated on paid‑media trends, new technologies, and channel innovations to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in performance marketing across major B2B and B2C paid channels.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret cohort analysis, funnel reporting, and attribution data.
• Growth‑oriented attitude: test quickly, learn fast, and build scalable systems.
• Comfortable working with tracking infrastructure, pixels, UTM parameters, and attribution logic.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate creative production and campaign analysis.
