Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and environmentally‑responsible execution of production schedules in a plastic‑related industry.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, start, and run machinery while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and ISO standards.
• Weigh and dispense ingredients according to recipe specifications or deliver pre‑blended materials to equipment.
• Monitor production flow and equipment performance, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Operate machines for mixing, extrusion, or material handling following standard operating procedures.
• Visually inspect materials for quality compliance and take samples for laboratory analysis when required.
• Report problems to the Production Lead or Shift Supervisor for resolution.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and maintain accurate production data and logs.
• Participate in training, continuous‑improvement initiatives, and uphold all safety and housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical degree.
• At least 1 year of auxiliary production experience in the plastics industry or a similar sector.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lb regularly and up to 250 lb occasionally.
• Willingness to use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (preferred).
• Machinery operation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ISO safety and quality standards.
• Accurate material weighing and measurement.
• Data entry and documentation of production logs.
