Real-World Cyberspace Operations (CO) Planner

About the role

Peraton is seeking a Real-World Cyberspace Operations (CO) Planner to support the USFK Joint Cyberspace Center. The planner will develop command guidance, prioritize recommendations, and integrate cyberspace operations with Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces and mission‑tailored force packages across the Korean theater.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate joint operation planning objectives and Mission Essential Tasks (METs) supporting the Theater Campaign Plan, Armistice, competition, combat and contingency operations.
• Draft cyberspace appendices and annexes for major planning documents, focusing on Northeast Asian threats, nation‑states and malicious cyberspace actors.
• Consolidate cyberspace requirements from USFK staff, including Requests for Forces (RFF) and Requests for Support (RFS), and interface with USINDOPACOM, USCYBERCOM and other CCMDs.
• Update METs and Joint METs for monthly input into the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS).
• Develop and maintain Crisis Action Standard Operating Procedures (CASOPs) and other cyber operation SOPs.
• Provide expert input to briefings, translate strategic concepts into tactical execution, and support joint operational planning for training and exercises.
• Participate in tabletop exercises, wargames, combined arms rehearsals and concept rehearsal drills.
• Lead weekly Projects and Plans meetings and coordinate planning across higher, lower, adjacent and multinational headquarters.
• Explore integration of AI and ML tools into the Combined Joint All‑Domain Tasking Order (CJADTO) framework to improve situational awareness.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in cyberspace operations planning within a joint or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of Northeast Asian cyber threat landscape and relevant nation‑state actors.
• Ability to produce clear, concise guidance documents and brief senior leadership.
• Experience coordinating with multiple combatant commands and joint task forces.
