Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Grupo AIC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its investment team in Guatemala City. You will play a key part in evaluating real‑estate, private‑equity and strategic investment opportunities, providing data‑driven insights that shape portfolio decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and continuously improve detailed financial models for existing assets and new deals.
• Analyze financial statements, perform variance analysis and prepare concise reports for senior leadership.
• Develop presentations and dashboards that communicate investment theses and performance metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning for the portfolio.
• Monitor portfolio performance, conduct scenario and risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate new investment opportunities, including due‑diligence and valuation using DCF, comparable and LBO methods.

Required profile

• Strong finance and analytical background with a proven track record in investment analysis or corporate finance.
• Expertise in financial statements, reporting and financial planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field; CFA or relevant master’s degree is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Guatemala City and collaborate across functions.
