Senior Python Software Engineer – Data & Cloud Migration

About the role

Join 3Pillar as a Senior Python Software Engineer focused on building data and cloud migration frameworks. You will help move on‑premise software assets to Snowflake and Azure, while contributing to innovative AI‑native products for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a migration framework for moving on‑premise assets to Snowflake and Azure AKS.
• Maintain and improve existing software solutions and infrastructure.
• Drive continuous‑improvement processes and establish best practices for deployment and management of data assets.
• Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using agile project tools.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technology investigations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional experience with Python and SQL.
• Proven experience migrating data and analytics workloads to cloud platforms (Snowflake, Azure AKS).
• Background in the financial industry; completion of the Canadian Securities Course or CFA candidacy is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of information‑systems concepts and relational databases.
