Sub Gerente de Almacén

About the role

The Sub Gerente de Almacén supports the Warehouse Manager in achieving the company’s sales and operational targets. Working closely with the manager, the role combines sales support, team leadership, and hands‑on involvement in daily warehouse activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in meeting established sales goals by participating in planning, implementation, and performance analysis.
• Promote a positive, collaborative work environment among all warehouse staff.
• Engage directly in all warehouse operations, from receiving and storing automotive parts to selling and dispatching them.
• Identify market trends and customer needs, proposing innovative solutions to improve operations and increase sales.
• Continuously develop knowledge of warehouse management to prepare for greater responsibilities.

Required profile

• Academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields.
• Minimum five years of experience in sales and/or team leadership.
• Own vehicle and willingness to work in Guatemala City.
• Availability to train in El Salvador.

Required skills

• Knowledge of automotive technical catalogs (printed and electronic).
• Retail sales techniques.
• Automotive mechanics understanding.
• Experience with workshop tools and equipment.
• Proficiency in measurements, conversions, and table handling.
• Route planning knowledge.
• Inventory management.
• Collection (payment) management.
