About the role

The Digital Media Deputy Manager will define and lead the digital content strategy for Walmart's full brand ecosystem in Central America. Working closely with the Content Management team, the role co‑designs influencer objectives and strategies across multiple portfolios, acting as the strategic bridge between business goals and digital content operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define objectives and criteria for digital content and influencer initiatives across all formats and portfolios.
• Lead creative and strategic proposals to amplify brands from a digital content perspective.
• Manage the Digitas agency team to continuously improve quality and effectiveness of digital actions.
• Drive continuous improvement using social media data to boost business results.
• Coordinate projects with internal areas to enrich deliverables of the Digital Content Unit.
• Set, monitor, and guarantee Social Media KPIs and operational KPIs for all formats.
• Align teams constantly on business priorities and strategic content objectives.
• Produce results, reports, and actionable insights for the digital content unit.
• Maintain and update the Content & Creators forecast for all portfolios.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Production, Advertising, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• Experience in digital marketing, content strategy, agency management or similar roles within mass‑consumer brands.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Planning and reporting tools (Forecast, dashboards).
• Knowledge of audiovisual production and photography.
