Supervisor de Logística de Cosecha

About the role

The Harvest Logistics Supervisor plans, coordinates and controls the transportation of sugarcane from the fields to the mill, ensuring a continuous, timely and cost‑optimal supply to the industrial area for scheduled milling.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee uninterrupted cane flow to the mill, matching milling rhythm and preventing plant shutdowns.
• Coordinate daily with the Cutting Management and Industrial areas to balance cutting, loading and transport, adjusting schedules in real time.
• Develop contingency plans for rain, mechanical failures, road blockages or other disruptions.

Required profile

• Industrial Engineer or related degree.
• At least 2 years experience as a logistics coordinator or supervisor.
• Experience supervising operational staff and managing transportation budgets.
• Willingness to reside in the Escuintla area and work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Trip scheduling and dispatch management.
• Control of productivity indicators, route compliance and yields.
• Use of GPS systems and unit monitoring tools.
• Budget administration and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
