Supervisor Técnico de Instalaciones

About the role

Grupo IMD is looking for a full‑time Technical Installation Supervisor to lead on‑site installation teams in Guatemala City. The role ensures that architectural finish installations are executed according to technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily installation activities for vinyl flooring, modular carpet, lighting, tiles, baseboards, and decorative panels.
• Allocate resources, manage equipment and tool usage, and verify measurements against project plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Prepare progress reports, document incidents, and support continuous improvement of field operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising technical or construction teams and managing multiple projects.
• Technical degree or professional training in engineering, construction, architecture, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
• Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Availability to work on‑site in Guatemala City and travel to various project locations.

Required skills

• Equipment maintenance and repair for installation tools.
• Facility management and building maintenance.
• Troubleshooting of technical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Knowledge of architectural finishes, construction processes, safety regulations and quality‑control practices.
