About the role
VOLCAFE is offering a two‑year trainee program for a motivated individual to join its coffee trading division in Guatemala City. The role provides a rotation across the company’s processes, giving hands‑on experience in agricultural commodity trading, sustainability, and supply‑chain management.
Required profile
- University degree (BA, Marketing or Engineering).
- Approximately 1 year of relevant experience.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel; Power BI knowledge is desirable.
- Advanced analytical abilities.
- Citizen or permanent resident of Guatemala City, with a valid passport and no travel restrictions.
- Flexibility for up‑country assignments, occasional travel abroad, and variable working hours during harvest periods.
- Positive learning attitude, leadership potential, emotional intelligence, and assertive communication.
- Immediate availability.
