About the role

The University of Valle de Guatemala seeks a dedicated professional to assemble, configure, and update virtual courses on its institutional Learning Management System (LMS). The role ensures that all content, activities, and resources meet the university’s quality, accessibility, and user‑experience standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure courses in the LMS, uploading and organizing documents, links, and multimedia resources.
• Configure learning activities, assignments, assessments, and basic grading criteria.
• Structure modules, sections, and navigation according to predefined course designs.
• Conduct basic testing to verify links, content, resources, and navigation before publishing.
• Apply technical adjustments identified during course reviews.
• Support institutional guidelines for accessibility, usability, and quality.
• Maintain up‑to‑date and well‑organized course content within the platform.
• Document performed activities and report technical incidents for follow‑up.
• Assist with other tasks related to the management and updating of virtual courses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
• Six months to one year of experience with educational platforms, digital content management, or technical support (including internships or university projects).

Required skills
