Accounting Services Associate II

About the role

The Accounting Services Associate II supports Conduent’s finance team by preparing statutory accounts, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with evolving accounting standards. This position combines routine accounting tasks with analytical research to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and examine statutory accounts, financial statements, and regulatory reports.
• Maintain accounting records, including the general ledger, and produce management reports.
• Research and interpret changes to accounting rules, developing new processes to ensure compliance.
• Provide accounting guidance on proposed transactions and ensure conformity with standards.
• Process vendor invoices, respond to inquiries, and manage accounts payable policies and procedures.
• Handle employee expense reimbursements and verify accounts payable/receivable transactions.
• Analyze bill runs for potential fraud and perform low‑volume customer billing.
• Evaluate capital budget requests and design cost‑reduction or cost‑management programs.
• Monitor fixed and variable expenses, identify savings opportunities, and produce expense analyses.

Required profile

• Vocational training, certifications, or equivalent experience in accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work with moderate supervision and follow standardized procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and expense analysis.
