AI Integration Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As an AI Integration Engineer you will own and ship the internal automation roadmap, focusing on building production systems rather than training models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, including tool use and function calling.
• Create internal tools to reduce manual hours across design and development processes.
• Build automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and the internal CMS.
• Implement MCP server integrations as part of the broader AI stack.

Required profile

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English proficiency sufficient for asynchronous written work with a US‑based team.
