About the role

The Accounting Analyst will ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial records and reporting, complying with legal and tax regulations. This role covers both national and international transactions, guaranteeing that all accounting and customs processes are correctly reflected.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor all stages of the accounting cycle: recording, classification, reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and closing.
• Prepare and review trial balances to ensure account reconciliation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts receivable/payable.
• Generate monthly financial reports.
• Prepare tax declarations (ISR, IVA, and other applicable taxes).
• Ensure compliance with fiscal and legal obligations.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Support implementation of accounting systems and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA or near completion required).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting positions.
• Strong knowledge of fiscal regulations.
