About the role

The company seeks a Financial and Accounting Analyst to support its construction projects. The analyst will ensure transparent, efficient, and compliant financial operations while collaborating with technical and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial and accounting processes for construction projects.
• Control costs, budgets, and cash flow.
• Perform accounting entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
• Prepare financial reports and performance indicators for management.
• Administer Odoo accounting modules.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with Guatemalan tax and regulatory obligations.
• Implement internal controls and process improvements.
• Lead, train, and monitor the performance of the finance team.

Required profile

• University degree in Public Accounting, Auditing, Finance or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Finance (mandatory).
• 2‑5 years of experience in finance, accounting or auditing, preferably in construction.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of Guatemalan accounting and tax standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Odoo accounting modules.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
