Analista Técnico de Microbiología

About the role

The Microbiology Analyst will perform microbiological testing throughout the entire ice‑cream production chain, from raw material receipt to the finished product. The role ensures food safety by monitoring surfaces that contact food and by following a strict sampling and analysis schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological analyses on raw materials, intermediate products and finished ice‑cream.
• Perform surface microbiological controls on equipment and contact areas.
• Maintain and follow the monitoring program, analysis plan and established timelines.
• Document results and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Gender neutral, open to all candidates.
• Availability to work rotating shifts.
• Proven experience as a technician, analyst or laboratory assistant in a food‑industry microbiology lab.
• Technical background in microbiological control (preferred but not mandatory).

Required skills

• Sample collection for microbiological testing.
• Preparation of culture media.
• Execution of microbiological analysis techniques.
