About the role

The Accounts Payable Assistant will ensure accurate control and recording of supplier invoices, guaranteeing compliance with internal policies and current tax regulations. The role supports both local and foreign supplier integrations, advances, and related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to and generate invoice registration requests.
• Manage and verify invoices from local and foreign suppliers through direct channels, service centers, or portals.
• Generate applicable tax withholdings for suppliers.
• Follow up and resolve incidents related to pending invoice registrations.
• Support audit requirements linked to the supplier process.
• Prepare accounting integrations for advances, accounts payable, and pending invoices during the monthly close.
• Track and settle old outstanding items with suppliers.
• Perform adjustments and reclassifications related to supplier payments.
• Ensure all entries are reconciled for the monthly close.
• Produce and monitor monthly indicators of processed invoices.
• Monitor open incidents with Accenture and manage their resolution.
• Analyze indicator results and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Student pursuing a degree in Public Accounting, Auditing or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
