Bilingual Spanish/English Auto Parts Phone Customer Service & Sales Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) specialist to handle inbound phone calls from retail customers, mechanics, repair shops, and dealerships. The role focuses on identifying automotive parts, providing quotes, confirming inventory, upselling related items, and processing sales orders.

Key responsibilities

• Answer high‑volume inbound calls and assist customers in purchasing automotive parts and accessories.
• Use digital parts catalogs, EPC systems, and fitment guides to accurately identify components by year, make, model, or VIN.
• Enter, verify, and finalize orders, payments, and invoices in POS and inventory management systems.
• Recommend companion items such as gaskets, seals, fluids, or tools to complete repairs.
• Provide pricing, availability, shipping rates, and delivery timelines while handling warranty, core charge, and return inquiries.
• Resolve order discrepancies, shipping delays, and basic technical fitment issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse, shipping managers, and drivers to track order fulfillment and flag out‑of‑stock items.

Required profile

• Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills.
• 1–2 years experience in automotive parts sales or related customer service.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and major component categories.
• Ability to multitask, looking up technical data while maintaining clear phone conversations.
• Comfort with extended desk work, headset use, and high‑volume screen usage.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic parts catalogs (EPC) and inventory systems.
• Familiarity with CDK, Epicor, or manufacturer‑specific databases.
• Basic database management and POS system proficiency.
