Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant / Receptionist (Spanish/English)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant to support a busy US‑based skin clinic. The position is fully remote and focuses on front‑line patient communication, scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations, allowing the in‑clinic team to concentrate on direct care.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls promptly, provide information, and route concerns.
• Manage the clinic calendar: schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments.
• Verify patient insurance coverage, update records, and communicate patient responsibility.
• Coordinate prior authorizations by gathering required data and tracking status with payers.

Required profile

• Fully fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting a US medical clinic.
• Proven ability to handle high‑volume patient calls and front‑desk tasks independently.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working remotely.
