Clinic Manager – On‑site Leadership Role

About the role

Health & Help is seeking a dedicated Clinic Manager to lead daily operations at its clinic in El Pojom, Guatemala. You will be the on‑site point of contact, ensuring smooth patient flow, supporting staff, and upholding high standards of care in a limited‑resource environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all clinic activities, monitor performance, and report to the Executive Director.
• Supervise doctors, nurses, local employees, and volunteers; handle orientation and day‑to‑day support.
• Manage inventory of medicines, supplies, and equipment; process procurement requests.
• Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, and accurate cash/petty‑cash reconciliations.
• Build relationships with patients, community leaders, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in healthcare management, nonprofit operations, or volunteer coordination.
• Ability to work in multicultural, limited‑resource settings.
• Spanish proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Full‑time commitment with at least three weeks per month residing on‑site.
