About the role

At TELUS Digital, the Clinical & Medical AI Expert safeguards medical truth in AI systems. You will work with a community of healthcare professionals to train large language models on diagnostics, pharmacology, and patient‑care logic, ensuring AI reasoning meets clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit AI “chain‑of‑thought” reasoning for medical diagnostics to ensure compliance with international protocols such as ICD‑11 and DSM‑5.
• Verify AI‑generated drug interactions, dosage recommendations, and contraindications against peer‑reviewed literature.
• Label complex datasets—including MRI/CT scans, pathology reports, and genomic data—to enhance model visual‑spatial reasoning.
• Identify and neutralize “medical hallucinations,” creating safety guardrails to prevent patient harm.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MD/MBBS), Pharmacy (PharmD), Nursing, or Biomedical Sciences.
• Native‑level proficiency (C2+) in your primary language to interpret regional medical terminology.
• English proficiency of at least B1 for technical research and reporting.
• Pass a subject‑specific qualification exam and complete ID verification.
